San Diego FC continues to prepare for the 2025 MLS season, which will mark its first year in the top tier of football in the United States and Canada.

As February approaches, the focus at SDFC revolves around rumors of potential signings to complete their squad.

Just hours ago, San Diego FC announced the loan of Duran Ferree and the signing of Pablo Sisniega, all aimed at strengthening the goalkeeper position.

In addition to this, the rumor linking Kevin De Bruyne to the MLS’s newest franchise has resurfaced.

However, there is still one announcement pending – that of San Diego FC’s away kit.

At Chrome and Azul, we have an idea/prediction of what this jersey could look like.

Predicted San Diego FC 2025 away jersey – Adidas will not take any risks

San Diego FC recently unveiled their inaugural home jersey for the 2025 MLS season, and we really liked it.

That said, we believe Adidas won’t take any risks with the away jersey and we might see something nearly identical to the home kit.

Here’s our predicted San Diego FC 2025 away jersey:

Of course, the colors could vary, but our intention is clear: essentially the same jersey as the home one, but in white.

Why do we think this? Typically, each MLS club releases one jersey per season, but as SDFC is an expansion club, they’ll have to release two in the same campaign.

This has happened recently with clubs like Inter Miami and St. Louis CITY SC. While the jerseys were stylish and simply nice, it’s true there wasn’t much creativity behind them, especially when it came to the away kits.

We could be wrong, as this is clearly a prediction, but it seems quite unlikely that Adidas would go for something “exceptional” with San Diego FC’s away jersey.

Which other stars could join San Diego FC?

Reports suggest a star-studded lineup could grace the field for San Diego FC.

Names such as Keylor Navas, Nacho, Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric, and even Neymar have been mentioned in various sources, including El Diario.

The reality is that some of the names mentioned have “cooled off” in recent weeks and months.

Just a few days ago, it emerged that San Diego FC are no longer interested in Erick Gutiérrez, a former teammate of Hirving Lozano who now plays for Chivas in Liga MX.

Brandon Vázquez and Diego Valdés, from Monterrey and América respectively, have also been linked to SDFC.
