As Kevin De Bruyne approaches the end of his Manchester City contract in 2025, speculation is swirling about his next move.

At 33, De Bruyne’s career has been hampered by injuries, limiting him to just five Premier League starts this season and 15 the previous year.

While he remains a beloved figure at the Etihad, City appears to be planning for life after their iconic playmaker.

San Diego FC, set to debut in the MLS in 2025, is already making waves as the league’s most expensive franchise, valued at half a billion dollars.

Owned by British-Egyptian businessman Sir Mohamed Mansour, who also runs the Right to Dream football academy in Ghana and Danish club FC Nordsjaelland, San Diego is determined to make a splash.

One of their marquee signings is Mexican star Hirving Lozano, who will occupy one of the team’s three designated player slots.

Now, TBR Football reports that Mansour is ready to finance ambitious bids for two global superstars: Mohamed Salah from Liverpool and Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City.

Securing these players would not only bolster the team’s roster but also solidify San Diego FC’s status as a major player in the global football market.
